dc.description.abstractLand allotted under the Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings Act are subjected to improvements at government cost. During the Fifth Five Year plan there was a centrally sponsored scheme for this purpose. Under that scheme Rs. 1000/— per hectare was given for effecting improvements of the ’surplus’ lands allotted, It is proposed to continue this scheme in the centrally sponsored sector during the Sixth Five Year Plan.
