Draft Five Year Plan 1978-83 Land Reforms Government of Madhya Pradesh

Abstract

Land allotted under the Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings Act are subjected to improvements at government cost. During the Fifth Five Year plan there was a centrally sponsored scheme for this purpose. Under that scheme Rs. 1000/— per hectare was given for effecting improvements of the ’surplus’ lands allotted, It is proposed to continue this scheme in the centrally sponsored sector during the Sixth Five Year Plan.
