Abstract

Integrated development project. The main components are Forestry, Soil Conservation, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Energy Conservation and Minor Irrigation. The implementation is done on watershed basis in selected SWS. The primary objective is to meet the fuelwood and fodder requirement of local people from their own land and Adjoining community lands to the extent possible. A project on development of “Small holders production system’’ have been included in this project.
