dc.description.abstractWelcoming the Chief Ministers, Central Ministers and other colleagues to the National Development Council Meeting, the Prime Minister, SHRIMATI INDIRA GANDHI stated that in the last meeting of the National Development Council held in August, 1980 it was decided to expedite the Sixth Plan exercises and to bring the Plan before Council early in 1981. The Planning Commission had worked very hard to make it possible to present the Plan' document in record time.
