dc.description.abstractThe recommended targets of commercial crops and area to be covered under HYV of paddy, maize, wheat were set at 1,31,000 tonnes and 78,000 hectares and these are likely to be achieved. As regards employment generation, the State will be able to employ 148 agricultural graduates during the entire sixth Plan period however the number available in the market is about 200.
