Industrial Potential Survey Rajasthan

Abstract

Rajasthan is one of the States identified as industrially backward by the Pande Committee. The financial assistance to backward States like Rajasthan from the all India institutions has been at a low level. With a view to removing this anomaly, the financial institutions have decided to conduct surveys of the backward States to identify their industrial potential. In pursuance of this objective, these institutions have already completed surveys in States/Union Territories the Assam, Tripura, Bihar and Jammu & Kashmir. Likewise, a joint institutional study team was appointed to carry out an industrial survey in Rajasthan.
