Draft Annual Plan 1984-85 Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli Administration

Abstract

The Union Territory of Dadra & Nadar Heveli is situated near the western coast adjacent to Vadodra of Gujarat State. Its area is 491 sq. kms. Through of the India was liberated from British Rule in 1947, the Territory continued under Portuguese regime till 1955 the Territory was administered by the people themselves between 2nd August, 1954 to 10th August,1961 . On 11 August 1961 this Territory was merged with the rest of the of India and since then is a centrally administration Territory.
