| dc.description.abstract | In Community development projects and in achenes of national extension much emphasis is placed on enabling’ the villagers to appreciate the need and opportunity of better living and better farming through their own organized action. If the effects of those who are engaged in these activities are to bear an good fruit it is essential that they should understand the prevalent motives and habits of the villagers. The need for such a preliminary understanding on the part of the reforming agents is all the more necessary since, in the nature of the case, all extension involves transplantation of a proved method to the field and the home of the cultivator. | |
