Draft Annual Plan 1972-73 Government of Himachal Pradesh

Abstract

A study of per capita Plan expenditure in the public sector reveals a rising trend except during 1966-67 and 1967-68. The fall during those years was due to merger of areas from Punjab into Himachal Pradesh which resulted in increasing the population without any corresponding increase in the Plan outlay, The following table gives the plan wise investment and per capita investment in Himachal Pradesh.
