Abstract

The basic objectives of the long-term development programme are to lay sound foundations for self-sustained economic growth, to provide opportunities of employment to all those who seek it, and while narrowing economic and social disparities, to ensure a minimum level of living to every family. Each Five-Year Plan has been visualised as a step forward in the intensive effort to achieve these aims and its shape and strategy have been designed accordingly.
