Draft Annual Plan 1974-75 Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi Islands Administration

Abstract

The major development programmes under implementation during II, III and IV Plan were distribution of quality coconut seedlings, conduct of fertiliser and cultural demonstration on cultivators holdings, subsidised distribution of fertilisers, implements, seedlings and seed of fruit plants and vegetables, issue of long term loan and subsidy for intercropping in coconut gardens and other schemes aimed at the promotion of better managerial practices including plant protection.
