Abstract
Rajasthan Government have accepted the advice of the Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, and the Adviser, Programme Administration, on the subject of nationalisation of Road Transport. The State Government have, accordingly, decided to utilise the entire allotment of 3.9’ crores towards construction of roads and the scheme of nationalisation has been dropped for the period of the Second Plan. Of 257 crores for Minerals and Major and Medium Industries to be financed from the Central Sector. Full information in respect of those is, however available and will be forwarded as soon as the saw is asked for by the Central Ministries concerned.
