Abstract

The economy of Madhya Bharat is largely dependent on the availability of easy communications especially because the State is very badly served by Rail communication and there is utter absence of navigable water-ways. the roads assume very great importance not only for economic reasons but also for maintenance of law and order specially in the Northern portion of Madhya Bharat.
