Abstract

The Gujarat Agricultural University was established on 1st February, 1972 under the Gujarat Agricultural University Act, 1972 for promoting agricultural productivity in general and for improving the economic conditions of the rural community in particular through integration of teaching, research and extension education in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, dairy and allied activities.
