Abstract
The Fourth Five-Year Plan of Andhra Pradesh outlines a comprehensive strategy to achieve a 40% increase in state income through investments of Rs. 1,500–1,600 crores across agriculture, irrigation, power, industry, education, and health sectors. Key initiatives include expansion of minor and major irrigation projects, large-scale power generation (thermal and hydroelectric), rural electrification, industrial promotion, and infrastructure development. Education and healthcare are prioritized with enhanced school enrollment, teacher training, hospital expansion, and public health programs. Community development and welfare programs target backward regions and marginalized groups. By integrating sectoral growth with socio-economic upliftment, the plan aims to reduce disparities, generate employment, and improve the quality of life for the population.
