Abstract

This part contains Directory of Agencies : (i) National Agencies—governmental ; (ii) National Agencies—non-governmental ; (iii) State-Level Agencies-governmental ; (iv) State/Regional-Level Agencies—non-governmental ; (v) International Agencies— inter-governmental and non-governmental. Information about agencies is organised under the sub-heads : name of the agency, dates of establishment and registration, address, correspondent, membership, functions or aims and objects, finances and periodicals. Not all the sub-heads were relevant in the case of each agency and in the case of some agencies adequate information was not available even in respect of a sub-head which was relevant and applicable.
