Abstract

Due to an efficient financial management, the State has succeeded in better implementation of XI Five Year Plan and achieving stronger financial indicators. The State recorded net revenue surplus of ₹3357 crore and the Gross Fiscal Deficit has been 0.98 per cent of the Grass Domestic Product. The State's total debt and other liabilities, in proportion to the Gross State Domestic Product have been within the limits determined by the Finance Commission.
