dc.description.abstractUnder the Improved Seeds scheme, the main objective is to increase the productivity and production of the crops by introducing improved varieties of seeds having high yielding characteristics and qualities. Also it aims to identify truthfully labeled seeds to be procured from the identified local progressive farmers, and to help the farmers as buyback with a view to have surplus production.
