Abstract

Area available in this territory for cultivation of paddy, is limited and it is targeted to maximise the area under single and double cropping-of H.Y.V, of paddy during Seventh Five Year plan. The physical target and programmes under the scheme are as under :- a)Supply of H.Y.V. and other improved varieties of seed paddy to the cultivators at 20% cost subsidy and 100% subsidy on transport.
