Abstract

The latest estimated cost for the entire valley P-object is Rs. 1122.85 lakhs (including High level canal and later Courses). Out of a total of Rs.1122.35 lakhs, Rs.80 lakhs relate to small medium and Minor irrigation schemes completed earlier, which have been founded separately from Medium Irrigation Minor Irrigation sectors. The net cost now stands at Rs. (122.85 - 80)=1042.85 lakh. This amount is in respect of the Dam High level canal and Distribution system under Chandan, Phase I and Courses. the total expenditure upto 1968-69 is Rs. 657-15 lakhs with spill over amount of Rs. 405.70 lakhs in the Fourth Five Year Plan.
