Abstract

The Ports of Kakinada and Machilipatnam are the Intermediate Ports and the other seven minor ports starting from the north coast are located at Bhavanapadu, Calingapatnam, Bheemunipatnam, Narasapur, Nizampatnam, Vadarevu and Krishnapatnam. They are under control of Andhra Pradesh Port Department. Shipping is, however, being handled at the Ports of Kakinada, Machilipatnam and Krishnapatnam at present.
