Abstract

The problem of promoting prosperity and contentment among the agricultural classes in the State and of improving the agricultural economy, has been receiving the continuous attention of the Hyderabad Government. Although the general pattern of land tenure is Raiyatwari nearly a third of the area of the State is outside Government control. With a view to levelling up the standard of administration in the non-Diwani areas the administration of Sarf-e-Khas has been taken over and integrated with the Diwani.
