Revised Draft Second Five-Year Plan of Orissa (1956-57 to 1960-61)

Abstract

The draft Second Five-Year Plan of Orissa presented to the Planning Commission contemplated a total outlay of Rs. 12124 crores, excluding the provisions required for the spill-over expenditure in respect of Hirakud Project- Stages I and II and Doha Irrigation Scheme. The draft Plan was discussed with the Planning Commission and the Adviser to the Planning Commission had recommended a ceiling of Rs 89 crores for the Second Five-Year Plan of this State.
