dc.description.abstractIn the Second Plan 222 Seed Farms of 25 acres each were established. Seed stores for the storage of farm produce are a necessary adjunct of these farms. Accordingly Stores were provided on 122 Seed Farms during the Second Plan. the remaining 100 farms will be covered under the present scheme. A provision of Rs 10.00 lakhs has been made in the Third Plan for the purpose at an estimated cost of Rs 10,000 per Seed Farm.
