Abstract

After witnessing a period of great strains on the State's Situation economy during the three years 1965-66 to 1967-68, due mainly to the severe drought conditions, floods and other natural calamities ties, the year 1968-69 marked improvement in the economic situation. the prospects for 1969-70 are expected to be brighter as compared to the previous year and the State has been able to achieve a break-through in economic development.
