dc.description.abstractThere is a large presence of girls amongst the Children in the schools. However, physical facilities for girls education like separate toilets are not available for them. Even toilets are not available or lady-teachers in the Schools. Whatever facilities were provided to many of the schools got damaged during the militant activities of United Liberation Front of Assam and the 8000 Security Force. The School building and its facilities have to bear the burnt of the insurgency operations in the State.
