dc.description.abstractChanges if any in cost estimates and foreign exchange expenditure and in passing compared to estimates given for the Third Plan briefly, explain reasons for these charges. The Original project is approved for its. 41.4143 Crores which provides for irrigation about 10 lacs acres in Broach and Baroda district. State I. It is proposed to construct a higher Navagam dam with FRL 500 ft. in accordance with the recommendations of the Narmada. Water Resources Development Committee headed by Dr. A. N. Khosla, Governor of Orissa. This would be an interstate project and the cost will be shared in proportion to the benefits .derived by. Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya, Pradesh, The total cost of the Navagam Dam and Power House is estimated Rs. 181 crores.
