dc.description.abstractAll the eleven existing Multipurpose Horticulture Farms functioned effectively during the quarter under report. Efforts arc being made to acquire suitable land at Kotiyalsain in district Chamoli, for establishing a nursery. The nursery at Jakh is being expanded by acquiring 289—14/6 nalis of land from Bamsu and 369—15/16 nalis from civil forest Deosan. Efforts are being made to clear up the jungle, and 1.85 acres has been brought under cultivation.
