Abstract

The main programmes of the agriculture University for 1986-87 include starting of BSC Forestry programmes, Division of Forestry Research and Construction of Academic and other buildings at the main campus and the Regional Units. In the crop husbandry sector apart from the normal programmes of the department particularly procurement of the timely supply of highly Yielding variety seeds, fertilizers etc. the scheme of crop insurance shall be executed in 1986-87 in collaboration with the General Insurance Corporation and Central Government.
