Abstract
The question of a suitable technology is the question of survival for rural industries. This involves the identification of suitable plant sizes for carrying on certain operations on a limited scale which suit the genius of people and their environments in rural areas. Further, limited supply of raw materials and also the limitations of the skills pressed by the** overall necessity of increasing employment opportunities call for a determined effort for locating, devising and producing suitable equipment and machines in the various fields of rural small scale industries
