Research for Planning 1953-55

Abstract

Research is the privilege and responsibility of Universities and academic institutes. On the other hand, a Government charged with the responsibility of planning for socio-economic development has also specific requirements in the field of research. A liaison has, therefore, to be established for this purpose between the Universities and the Planning Commission.
