Abstract

The third plan formally ended in March 1961. For three successive years, ad-hoc annual plans were adopted and from 1969-70 new Fourth Five Year Plan was launched Financial target of the Fourth Five Year Plan is Rs 338 crores which includes the Central assistance of Rs 338,00 crores in the fir: two years of the Fourth Five Year Plan, ending in 1970-71 about crores out of the outlay for five years will have been spent representing about 338 total target for 1971-72, which is the third year of the Fourth Five Year Plan, outlay Rs. 61 crores has been tentatively fixed which includes the Central assistance of Rs.67,60 crores.
