Abstract

The broad objectives of the Kerala’s Sixth Plan are maximisation of production in industry and agriculture, optimum utilisation of the existing capacity and infrastructure, enhancement of employment opportunities, utilisation of local material and manpower resources, strengthening of the public distribution system, amelioration of the conditions of the weaker sections of the population through the distribution of the fruits of development and bringing about balanced regional development.
