Fourth Five Year Plan 1966-71 A Draft Outline Government of Kerala

Abstract

The State Government initiated preliminary studies for the formulation of the Fourth Five Year Plan early in 1963. As a first step, statistical data about the position in respect of key items in various sectors as at the beginning of the Third Plan and as estimated to be at the end of the Third Plan and data giving the position of Kerala vis a vis other States of India were made available to the Heads of Departments and Officers connected with the formulation of the Fourth Plan. Action was also taken simultaneously for the preparation of a series of working papers on various subjects. Forty-seven working papers were prepared and circulated to the Departments and officers concerned.
