Abstract

Youth is an integral part of the community and can serve as effective media for changing the traditional attitudes and creating a climate for widespread adoption of nevi practices. Promotion of a strong and dynamic youth movement in the form of youth clubs has been recognised as an integral part of the C.D. Programme. In order to promote the organisation of youth clubs in C.D. areas, a comprehensive programme for Yuvak and Mahila Mandals was drawn up at the C.D. Conference held at Hyderabad in 1961.
