Abstract

Against an approved outlay of Rs.5.00 lakhs for 1979-80, the anticipated expenditure is Rs 5.35 lakhs. For 1980-81, a sum of Rs 5.65 lakhs has been proposed. Out of this Rs: 2.00 lakhs have been proposed for the Lift Irrigation Scheme at Rambirpura which envisages irrigation of 460 hectares of fertile land presently lying barren at an estimated cost of Rs. 69.56 lakhs by utilizing part of the secondary power available from Stakna Hydel Project during summer months. The remaining amount is required for completion/part completion of works already in progress.
