Abstract

Assistance for Cooperative Marketing, Processing and Storage Programmes in Cooperatively under-developed States/Union Territories. To correct regional imbalances in certain parts of the country and to provide needed momentum to the pace of the development of various programmes of cooperative agricultural marketing, processing and storage etc. Assistance is given to cooperatively under developed States and UTs on comparatively liberal pattern and easier terms and conditions/for various programmes of cooperative development. As North Eastern Region is declared as 'less developed', the States WTs of this region are entitled for further liberal pattern of assistance.
