Tamil Nadu's Seventh Five-Year Plan 1985-90. A Summary

Abstract

The approach paper to the Seventh Five Year Plan (1985-90) as approved by the National Development Council in July 1984, envisages an aggregate investment of Rs. 3,20,000 crores at 1984-85 prices, of which, the public sector investment would be about Rs. 1,80,000 crores. Compared to the 1980-85 plan, the public sector investment represents a step up of Rs. 82,500 crores.
