Abstract

In the context of the preparations for the Tenth Five Year Plan (2002-07), a Steering Committee on the 'Empowerment of the Scheduled Castes (SCs), the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and the Minorities' was set up under the Chairmanship of Dr. D.N. Tewari, Member, Planning Commission.
