Abstract

To provide necessary linkage to agricultural production, irrigation and power sectors were entrusted with the major responsibilities of creating irrigation and power potential. In the irrigation sector, three medium projects — Knowai Medium Irrigation Project, Manu Irrigation Project and Gomati Medium Irrigation project were undertaken. The Gomati Medium Irrigation Project has been commissioned and the project is having a net area of 4466 hectares.
