Third Five Year Plan Midterm Review and Programme 1964-65 Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

The Planning Commission have lately approved the revised ceilings with a few alterations subject, however, to the specific understanding that the Annual Plans for the remaining two years would be drawn up on the basis of resources as assessed at the time of Annual Plan discussions. During the discussions held at New Delhi on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th December, 1963 with the State Government representatives for finalising the State’s Annual Plan for 1964-65, the Planning Commission indicated that they would honour their previous commitment for an additional assistance of Rs. 7.00 crores for Minor Irrigation and Rs. 2.00 crores for Soil Conservation during the current Plan.
