dc.description.abstractThe Annual Plan of Rs. 210 lakhs, for 1983-84 envisages development of land by reclaiming available flat lands and easy slopes with a provision of mini irrigation mainly by gravity flow by random land survey it is found that about 21,000 hect. of flat lands remained to be reclaimed with an easy slope of 20,000 hect. which together forms about 2% of the total geographical area of Mizoram, Of this 1100 hect. is going to be reclaimed during 1983-34 which will be available for cultivation of crop in 1934-85.
