Abstract

Lakshadweep is endowed with thick and remarkable coconut wealth. Coconut plays a prominent role in the economy of those islands. But we are no here the phenomenal growth the coconut industries have made in the advanced countries. One of the main reasons for this is that the dissemination of scientific results of research and practical know how are not as good as it should be, This calls for proper training and educating the formats on the several specialized and skilled technics involved in coconut cultivation.
