Second Five-Year Plan Programme for 1958-59 Government of Mysore

Abstract

The object of the present publication is to give a detailed account of the programme of development proposed to be undertaken in the Mysore State during the third year of the Second Five-Year Plan, viz., 1958-59. It is hoped that this publication will provide a complete picture of the developmental activities of the State during the year. The Second Five-Year Plan of the Mysore State was finalised in .1957 with a total outlay of Rs. 145.13 crores. Within the framework of the Plan, the programme for each year has to be worked out in detail taking into consideration the progress achieved during the previous years and the financial resources available.
