dc.description.abstractI have pleasure in enclosing the Report of the Working Group on Energy Policy. For me personally, and for all the members of the Group who have participated in the preparation of the Report, it has been a stimulating assignment. The energy crunch’ is real and it is easy to define the problem, but the answers arc many and most of these arc yet in the experimental stage and some only in conceptual stage. Energy in one form or another enters practically every single economic activity and its availability and cost would decide the economic future and well-being of the nation.
