Abstract
Geographical Features Located in the North-eastern part of India, Assam is surrounded by six of the seven sister States visit Arunachal Pradesh in the North Nagaland and Manipur in the Rest Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya in the South. Being the gateway of the North-Eastern par t of India, the geographies location of Assam is of strategic importance.
