Draft Annual Plan for Uttar Pradesh 1958-59

Abstract

In 1956 the Planning Commission had approved a Plan ceiling of Rs. 253.1 crores for Uttar Pradesh, During implementation of the Plan two or three significant changes took place. Firstly, the important schemed of Craftsmen Training was introduced. Secondly, the ceiling for NES and Community Development Programme had to be raised from Rs.26,60 crores to Rs. 33.36 crores fro that the physical targets could be fully achieved.
