Second Five Year Plan (1956-57 to 1960-61) Nagpur District Bombay State

Abstract

The object of bringing out this publication is to present a brief account of the Development Programme for each District during the Second Plan period. The State Plan was prepared after taking into consideration the requirements of various districts. Many schemes included in the State Plan are, however, of a general nature and benefit all the Districts of the State. There are, however, several schemes, the benefits of which can be shown districtwise. This has been done in the present publication. Location of the various activities within the district has also been given for talukas and in some cases for villages.
